marriage and family
mental health such as depression, anxiety and OCD
bereavement
relationships
The therapeutic approach of Zen is to provide a lens through which the counsellor addresses the client’s problems according to their needs. Zen uses an integrative approach whereby depending on the issues to be addressed, a different model of counselling can be used.
Zen offers open ended counselling which means there is no time limit for the number of sessions. When the counsellor and client feel they have naturally come to the end of the relationship and addressed all issues, they agree to end. This may be anything from a couple of months to a year long or as required. Each session is an hour in duration and typically takes place on a weekly basis in a safe and confidential environment.
